Winter Durability

Winter Durability

Ella Davidoff |

As we watch the current winter storm sweep across the country, our hearts are with all of you who are out there breaking ice, hauling extra flakes of hay, and checking blankets in the freezing wind. We know that "horse life" doesn't stop just because the temperature drops—if anything, the work gets harder.

We truly hope you, your family, and your herd are staying safe and warm through these conditions.

Seeing the snow piling up reminded us of a story a customer named Misty shared with us last winter during a similar brutal stretch in Montana. When the mercury dipped to -14°F, she was worried about how her gear would hold up under the pressure of the deep freeze and shifting snow.

She sent us a video of her Camp Corrals panels, which were quite literally frozen into the landscape. Her update was a huge relief:

"Completely frozen solid. Not a crack or split. Tonight through tomorrow will be the absolute test... but holding up and strong!"

In those moments, the last thing you want to worry about is gear failing or a panel snapping due to "cold-cracking." We were so proud to see our panels maintain their shape and strength, even when Montana was at its harshest.

We share this today not just to talk about durability, but to give you one less thing to worry about when the next storm rolls in. Whether you're using them for a temporary stall or an emergency turnout, we want you to have the same peace of mind Misty had.

Please stay safe out there. Take an extra minute for yourself by the heater today—you’ve earned it.
